Twilight-Hating on Jacob Black?
QuestionableIf you've never read the series and don't care about the series...stop reading. If you have and you do, keep reading...I want opinions.
It was fantastic. I finished it in two days and was on the edge of my seat the whole time. An interesting development after the first book. A great friendship/relationship between Bella and Jacob Black.
I have seen SO many rants and ravings against poor Jacob! So many people just hate his guts...why is this? We ALL know that Bella will end up with Edward...unless one or both of them dies (if this Romeo and Juliet theme continues on)....so why do so many people hate Jacob? He wants what he can't have..it's SAD...and even though he knows Bella will never love him in the same way, he continues to care about her...
I think Jacob is a brilliant character....now one of my favorites in any book I've read.
SO DOWN TO THE POINT
Answer me this:
Why do so many people hate poor werewolf Jacob Black? (By the way, as soon as Jacob told Bella that story on the beach in La Push, I KNEW it...I called it then and there that Jacob would be a werewolf.)
So...yeah...and if you truly hate Jacob, take it easy. I think you can convey your dislike politely...considering he's my favorite character now.

I can see why Edward is appealing to many people. I don't dislike Edward. He's also brilliant...but I have to admit I prefer Jacob...he's a sweetheart/marshmallow of a werewolf.
I agree that I don't think Bella will become a vampire...It'll be interesting to see. Beginning of August and we'll find out!

The motorcycle thing was underhanded...but at the same time..he did it because he was worried that Edward was controlling her.
He strikes me as somewhat changed in this book...then again, I suppose a lot of people turn into Jerks when the person they love is taken away from them by someone they hate.

I think a lot of people hate him because he hates Edward...personally, I can see where both of them are coming from
Werewolves are dangerous and unpredictable...so Edward's fear is well-warranted.
However,
Jacob sees the same things in the vampires...and think about it! Edward said himself that he was not good enough for Bella...that he was too dangerous...after her birthday party...and the incident in Phoenix, can anyone blame Jacob for worrying about her spending time with the vampires?
Again, I don't hate Edward, but i'm holding out for Jacob. Go werewolves!

The vampires and Werewolves both hate one another...I suppose part of it is just their nature...natural enemies...
However (and I mean no Offense to Edward....I love Edward, don't get me wrong) but, Edward is a bit hypocritical if he's accusing the werewolves of being too dangerous...after all, Jasper just about attacked Bella after she got a papercut...I think one monster accusing another monster of being dangerous...hmm...pot calling kettle black...
Jacob is equally dangerous though....nothing safe about a person that turns into a giant wolf whenever he gets peeved.
